BOROUGH OF EDGEWORTH

Notice is hereby given that the Edgeworth Zoning Hearing Board (“Board”) will conduct a public hearing on October 24th, 2023, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Edgeworth Borough Building, 301 Beaver Road, Edgeworth, PA 15143 concerning the following matter:
The Board will consider a request by Mr. and Mrs. Miguel Regueiro for the property located at 624 Poia Rd. for a Special Exception pursuant to Article V, Section 130-27 E (4)(e) of the Code of the Borough of Edgeworth (the Code) for the construction of a pool, retaining wall, and outdoor fireplace in the Conservation Overlay (CO) Zoning District. Mr. Regueiro is also seeking a variance from Article V, Section 130-21 C (2) concerning the minimum side yard setback in the R-1 Residential Zoning District for the pool.
The Board will consider a request by Mr. and Mrs. Scott Smith for the property located at 610 Poia Rd. for a Variance pursuant to Article V, Section 130-21 C (2) concerning the minimum side yard setback in the R-1 Residential Zoning District for the construction of a two-stall attached garage. Mr. Smith is also requesting a Variance from Article V, Section 130-21 C (4) concerning the minimum rear yard setback.
The Board will consider a request from Mr. and Mrs. Paul Namey for the property located at 315 Nicholas Pl. for a Variance pursuant to Article VI, Section 130-35 C (2) concerning the minimum rear yard set back for a detached accessory structure (greenhouse) in the R-3 Residential Zoning District. Mr. Namey is also requesting a Variance from Article VI, Section 130-35 C (2) concerning the minimum rear yard set back for a detached accessory structure (shed).
